Modern House in Newmarket, Brisbane, Australia

The design is developed for a building company from Brisbane, Australia. Our client is a building company and they needed help with architectural design. There was an existing dwelling on the property and the client wanted to demolish it, subdivide the lot and build two houses. There were different planning setbacks we needed to consider i.e. setbacks from the boundary, height restrictions, etc.

The house needed to be designed on steel stumps. The client requested to develop a modern and spacious layout with as much daylight as possible. The steep terrain, narrow lot and height restrictions were really challenging for getting a proper design...That is why we designed a split-level house.

We developed a concept design and detailed design with working drawings. We delivered a set of plans including site plans, floor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, slab plans, plumbing plans, floor covering plans, electrical plans, door schedules, and 3D visualization.
